About the tournament

The Cup is run for the seventh tear in honour of legendary forwarder of FC «Zenit» who started his football career in the team of Sport club «Bolshevik» (now FC «Almaz-Antey»). The Purpose of the Cup is to support for youth football and to strengthen the international sport relations.

The Spanish team «Villarreal» won The Lev Burchalkin Cup four years in a row. In 2023 eight teams from the famous football clubs took part in it: «Santos» (Brazil), «Palmeiras» (Brazil), «Crvena Zvezda» (Serbia), «Sepahan» (Iran), «CSKA» (Moscow), «Krasnodar» (Krasnodar), «Zenit» (St. Petersburg), «Almaz-Antey» (St. Petersburg). The winner of the anniversary fifth tournament was «Zenit» (St. Petersburg).

In 2024 the participants of The Cup was: «Palmeiras» (Brazil), «Crvena Zvezda» (Serbia), «Sepahan» (Iran), «Fenerbahce» (Turkey), «Dinamo-Minsk» (Belarus), «Kairat» (Kazakhstan), «Zenit» (St. Petersburg), «Almaz-Antey» (St. Petersburg). The winner was a team from Brazil «Palmeiras».

In this year the teams will play each other in a round robin in group and then will quality for the playoffs. In this way each team will play 5 matches. There are two 25-minute halves in every match.

The Cup will take place in Saint-Petersburg at the premises of FC «Almaz-Antey» (Prospect Obuhovskoy oborony, 130) from the16th to the 18th of May 2025.

The Cup will be held by Aerospace Defence Concern «Almaz-Antey» with support of Saint-Petersburg Football Federation.

Football players not older than 13 years old (year of birth 2012).
